JOB DESCRIPTION
The senior specialist, human resources will support the Human Resources & Admin department in ensuring the mission, vision, and core values are upheld and that the department runs smoothly and efficiently. This role will focus on developing a Talent Management programme, Compensation & Benefits positioning and Office Administration. The senior human resources specialist will support the department staff and function of the department as well.
- Develops strong partnerships with other department in order to be efficient, improve processes, and support one another’s Human Resources departments.
- Supports the Human Resources department in developing positive company culture.
- Supports department in developing goals, objectives and systems for the leadership team.
- Assists with keeping the performance evaluation program up to date and relevant.
- Assists with development and maintenance of HR policies, in the ongoing review, revision and maintenance of the employee handbook.
- Implements methods of utilizing the system to help with talent management and employee relations.
- Responsible for HR management and development (including policy/practices, mentoring, talent management, driving performance appraisals and HR related issues).
- Monitor, measure and report on HR opportunities and development plans within agreed formats.
- Succession plan and ensure is aligned with management to support the plan.
- Benchmark Compensation and Benefits scheme of the company.
- Update timely, relevant policies, procedures, organization charts and forms.
- Lead the office general administration function including visitors within the business.
- Preserves the employer/employee relationship.
- Supports screening, recruiting process and hiring practices when needed.
- To undertake any other duties and responsibilities when require by the management.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Business or Human Resources with similar field.
- A minimum of five (5) years of related human resources experiences desired or HR generalist practices.
- Experience in talent management, succession planning and development.
- Knowledge and experience of introducing new ideas to improve employee engagement.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Ability to communicate in Mandarin language is preferable for this position.
- Able to communicate at all levels with good presentation skills.
- Expose to Multi-National HR policy and practices.
- Computer literate with well versed in Microsoft Office.
- Self-starter, self-motivated, ability to take initiative and work with little direction.
- Well versed with guidelines, regulations and Employment guideline.
- Applicants with strong analytical, problem solving skill, result oriented, hardworking and good leadership will be added advantage.
- Able to work under pressure and independently with high degree of commitment.
